Representation
Licensees become representatives of the Town of Prescott and are expected to act as community ambassadors for the Town when interacting with members of the public, including sharing provided visitor information and promoting Prescott amenities. Licensees should respond to public questions in a factual and courteous manner and avoid speculation, misinformation, or public commentary on operational issues. The Town recognizes the importance of constructive feedback and continuous improvement; licensees are encouraged to share concerns, suggestions, and operational feedback through the designated channels. Agreements may be terminated if Licensees are deemed to be in violation of representation requirements. This includes in-person, verbal, written, video and digital interactions including but not limited to social media, radio, print, website & other digital platforms.
Licensees at the Prescott Pop-Ups are expected to act professionally, respectfully, adhering to all applicable laws, regulations and Municipal policies/by-laws. Harassment, discrimination, disruptive behaviour, abusive or offensive language, and the possession, use, or sale of illegal drugs or alcohol (outside of approved licensed areas) are strictly prohibited. Smoking, including vaping, is prohibited anywhere within the Prescott Pop-Ups site. Licensees are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure booth setup and must comply with all requirements for setup, operation, and teardown. Failure to meet these standards may result in corrective action up to and including termination of the Rental Agreement.
All Licensee sales activities must be conducted in a professional manner and must not include aggressive sales tactics. Business products, sampling, and sales activities must remain within the Licensees approved space and are not permitted to travel throughout the Pop-Ups site for the purpose of sale.
